Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Product Development technologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving products that meet the needs of our customers while ensuring high standards of quality assurance. You will collaborate with external teams at suppliers and manufacturers to meet the goals of the business.

Duties

Design and develop new products from concept through to production, ensuring they meet customer specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish testing protocols and ensure product reliability and safety. Prepare detailed documentation for product specifications, design changes, and testing results. Work closely with external suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless transition from development to production. Participate in regular meetings with clients to present findings, updates, and recommendations for product enhancements. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product development strategies.

Experience

A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Nutrition or a related field is essential. Proven experience in product development roles is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with a focus on quality assurance processes. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in using spreadsheets essential. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: 12,000.00-25,000.00 per year
