Your Job

As a customer-facing driver, you will be responsible for delivering civils and drainage products to our customers in Ashford and the surrounding areas. Your duties will include:

Efficient & Safe Operation:

Ensure the vehicle is operated efficiently and safely.

Compliance:

Adhere to all vehicle and driver legislation.

Timely Deliveries:

Complete and deliver orders to JDP customers on time.

Customer Service:

Represent JDP at the point of delivery, providing excellent customer service and upholding JDP's strong reputation.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Minimum Class C Licence:

Essential for operating our vehicles.

Driver CPC card:

Essential.

Digital Tacho Card:

Essential for compliance.

Haib qualification :

Essential

Health & Safety Knowledge:

Understanding of workplace safety.

Driver Procedures:

Detailed knowledge of driving hours rules and regulations.

Route Planning:

Ability to determine the most efficient delivery routes.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Forklift Truck Experience:

Advantageous but not essential.
