Job Description

:

In this role you will be driving a 3.5 ton GVW van and carrying out home moving services as part of a team. The job requires driving skills, good physical condition, as well as flexibility and positive attitude. The type of work we do means that working hours will vary every day, but expect early morning starts with an average finish time of around 5-7pm. Sometimes, larger services may mean a later finish time or traveling back from far locations in the country late in the evening. The work will be 5-7 days a week, fluctuating depending on how busy it is, with usually 1-2 clients a day.

Salary:

The salary is 600-800 per week + tips. You will be paid at the start and middle of each month
Requirements:

A full, B-category manual driving licence. A clean licence is preferred but not mandatory. Minimum of 3 years driving experience. The ability to drive 3.5-ton GVW vans safely and responsibly Previous experience as a mover is preferred but not mandatory. Further training in stacking, packing, disassembly and reassembly of furniture will be provided Good communication skills and ability to work in teams, as well as to communicate with clients Proficiency in the English language Bulgarian language (optional) The potential to take charge of a moving team and coordinate with colleagues and clients Punctuality Honesty Reliability Physical fitness Clean DBS Check
Day to day responsibilities:

You will be expected to be punctual and arrive every morning at a pre-agreed time to the same company location (Northolt, UB5) to meet with the rest of your team for that day and collect a company vehicle. You will then drive to customer locations and perform packing and moving services. These moving services may start all around London. Usually, they will finish in and around London but can sometimes take you all across the country. You and your moving team will be expected to take care of the vehicle, ensure that it is maintained clean, fully equipped and ready for work.
