HGV Class 2 Driver (Average 2 Nights out per week - could be more, could be less - depends on the needs of the business. )



Pay Rate: 27,810 Basic Salary Plus 26.20 Night out Rate, plus Overtime at T x 1.5)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Class 2 driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:


Work Mon-Fri day shifts, 6.30am start time (Approx 10 hours Overtime available per week at Time and a half available) Complete nights out shifts (Approx twice a week - could be more or could be less - depends on the needs of the business) Operate Class 2, 18 tonne curtainsided double deck vehicle with moving platform Use hand held terminal to track products and deliveries Deliver our products to commercial properties nationwide Operate pallet truck when delivering goods Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Hold a valid HGV Class 1 or 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card Have 12 months recent driving experience (minimum)
