About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Driver / Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be tasked with transporting cleaning staff and equipment to various client locations, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. As a driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and professionalism of our cleaning operations.

Your duties will include planning routes, performing basic vehicle maintenance, and assisting with loading and unloading cleaning supplies. You will be expected to maintain a clean and safe vehicle at all times, adhere to all traffic laws, and provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and team members.

This role also involves cleaning responsibilities, ensuring our clients receive a high standard of service across end-of-tenancy properties, communal areas, and commercial buildings. Flexibility is required, as work hours may vary depending on client needs and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Transport cleaning staff and equipment to client locations. Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of team members. Pick up keys from estate agents and ensure keys for various properties are kept secure. Carry out thorough cleaning of end-of-tenancy properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms. Perform final checks of end-of-tenancy cleans, ensuring they meet inventory standards. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the company vehicle. Assist with loading and unloading cleaning supplies. Plan and follow efficient routes. Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks. Maintain cleanliness in communal areas such as stairwells, hallways, and shared facilities. Clean commercial buildings as required. Learn and apply carpet cleaning techniques (training provided). Liaise with our office team and provide feedback on sites visited. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies. Report any vehicle issues, incidents, or property maintenance needs promptly.

Requirements

Valid UK driver's licence. Clean driving record. Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment. Previous cleaning or driving experience preferred (training provided). Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards. Good communication skills. Punctual, reliable, and professional in appearance and demeanor. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work varying hours depending on client schedules.
