Job Overview

We are looking to recruit a full time driver / site person for the delivery and collection of our caravans and motorhomes Due to retirement of our current driver.

Duties will include collection and delivery of touring caravans and motorhomes all around the country.

We buy touring caravans and motorhomes nationwide and arrange for them to be collected by our driver , at quieter periods of the year other duties will include tasks around our sales site etc but the main role is driving. Also you Would be expected to learn to manoeuvre caravans around our sales site using our small tractor.

This is a Monday to Friday role and the standard hours are 40 per week however there are opportunities at times to work extra hours, starting time is varied but quite often you would be expected to make an early morning start if going on a long trip.

Salary is by way of hourly rate plus there is an opportunity to earn bonuses.

Whilst it would be useful if the successful applicant has experience of towing caravans this is not essential as training will be given.

What is essential is a clean driving license which must have a class C on the licence enabling you to drive certain motorhomes which may be over 3500kg.

We are looking for someone who can work flexibly when it comes to hours as sometimes you could be leaving home anything from 6am onwards depending on destination.

We are a good company to work for, our current driver has been with us for over 25 years and is only leaving due to reaching retirement.
