Driver / Labourer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires good communication skills and the ability to work in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles such as vans or lorries to transport and collect goods
- collect products from customers in a timely manner
- Load and unload cargo safely
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance
- Valid commercial driving license
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous
Ability to load and unload van independently
Heavy lifting is required
candidate is to be honest and reliable , able to work alone and use initiative
Hours are Monday - Friday , 8am until 5.30pm
No weekends or bank holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 11.45 per hour

Experience:
Driving: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (required)
