Part Time Driver LCV (B)

based in

Skipton

you'll be responsible for:

Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in the BD area On average you will complete 2 - 5 deliveries a day Carrying out own vehicle checks Loading and unloading deliveries, which involves manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators, toilets and sinks Assisting in the warehouse once back from deliveries with unloading stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks and general warehouse duties.

This is a part time, permanent position working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 12.00pm and potentially 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 08.00am - 12.00pm

And here's what we'd like you to have:

Full UK Manual Driving licence Previous experience working in the Plumbing & Heating Industry Experienced in driving a 3.5T van doing multidrop deliveries Excellent communication skills Basic computer skills and familiarity with PDA devices To be a team player who is happy to assist in the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the branch Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
