Due to high demand we are now recruiting a Driver & Product Installer to join our company. A van will be provided.

Who we are

We are a family run business with an excellent reputation. We hire out and install children's play equipment such as soft play, bouncy castles and other items (large and small) for various occasions such as birthday parties, weddings, christenings etc. and any other occasions where people would like play equipment to entertain children.

What you will be doing

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hard working, professional and able to lift heavy items. As well as driving to and from a location, you will be delivering, collecting and installing items.

Delivering includes: unloading van, setting up equipment in accordance with our procedures and safety rules, sanitising equipment, and other related tasks. Collecting includes: cleaning equipment after use, dismantling and loading the van, and other related tasks.
You will also be responsible for speaking to customers, answering queries and explaining safety rules.

We provide full training so you can carry out your tasks confidently and efficiently. A work van will be provided.

Please note, our insurance requires driver's to be 25 years old or over and have a Full UK Driving licence with less than 6 points.

Requirements

Desirable

DIY skills - someone who is able to use initiative and fix items issues on their own Occasionally available on some weekdays - this is not required and rare, and you are given advance notice Has previous van driving experience
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 12 per week

Briefly explain why you think you would be suitable for this job. Do you had a Full UK Driving Licence with less than 6 points? Are you comfortable driving a large van? Are you able to comfortably lift heavy items (up to 30kg)? Are you comfortable to occasionally drive long distances (around 500 miles) and also load and unload a van? (This is not regular but can happen sometimes) Are you comfortable working around children? For the successful applicants, we will need to carry out a DBS check. If you are successful, are you okay with us carrying out a DBS check on you? Are you 25 years old or older (we require this as no insurance company covers a driver under 25 to drive our vehicles)?
