Job Overview

We are seeking a Driver with a bit of roofing experience or carpentry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of roofing systems and materials, with the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other team members on-site. The Roofer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

Install roofing systems, including single ply , tiles, and flat roofs, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Repair and maintain existing roofs by identifying issues and applying appropriate solutions. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and any concerns. Ensure all safety protocols are followed while working at heights or with hazardous materials. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary. Assist in the delivery of materials to job sites as required, which will involve driving a van . Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of roofing techniques and safety standards.

Experience

Previous experience in roofing or a related field is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates willing to learn. Strong mechanical knowledge is beneficial for understanding roofing systems and performing repairs. Experience in warehouse operations or as a delivery driver would be advantageous. A valid driver's licence is required for driving company vehicles when necessary. Ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients is essential for successful project execution.

Pay: 140.00-170.00 per day
