Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver & Vending Operator to join our team. This role involves the management and delivery of tooling within vending machines across various locations, ensuring they are stocked, maintained, and functioning efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities to provide exceptional service to our clients. This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience or delivery driver expertise to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Operate commercial vehicles to deliver stock to designated sites Stock vending machines with appropriate products, ensuring they are fully supplied and presentable Perform routine maintenance and mechanical checks on vending equipment to ensure optimal operation Assist with the installation and removal of vending machines at various locations Maintain accurate records of deliveries, stock levels, and maintenance activities Communicate effectively with clients regarding service schedules and any technical issues Conduct safety checks before and after each delivery route to adhere to health and safety regulations Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of customer service

Skills

Proven experience in driving, preferably as a delivery driver or warehouse operative with delivery responsibilities Mechanical knowledge related to vending machines or similar equipment not essential as training will be provided Commercial driving experience with a valid driver's licence Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members Ability to organise routes efficiently and manage time effectively during daily operations Experience working in warehouse environments is advantageous Good physical fitness for lifting and manoeuvring vending units and stock items as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,420.00-28,000.00 per year
