Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Vehicle Recovery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting recovered vehicles safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate various routes effectively. A background in the motor trade or driving is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secured properly during journeys. Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients. Assist with basic mechanical maintenance of the vehicle when necessary.

Qualifications

Valid driving licence with a CPC & Class 2 license or driver with a 7.5t entitlement Expereince in the motor trade, ideally driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with minor vehicle repairs is beneficial. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Pay: 12.76-22.31 per hour
