BEW are seeking a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our friendly team, based in Guildford, Surrey.
The primary task of this job is to collect and deliver goods in a safe and timely fashion, using a BEW supplied Mercedes Sprinter van. The vehicle is well maintained and serviced regularly. You will have excellent attention to detail and willingness to work as part of a team.
Reliable, with a can-do attitude, you will find your day will be packed with a variety of tasks, including loading goods from branch for customer deliveries and maintaining relevant paperwork for delivery transactions as well as any traffic related issues. And, of course, you'll enjoy taking direction from and supporting store management in day-to-day tasks.
Above, all though, it will be your initiative and professionalism, coupled with taking responsibility for effective route planning that will make you stand out from the rest.
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:00
Competitive salary and generous holiday entitlement.
Knowledge of delivering in and around London and the Home Counties would be advantageous.
Clean driver's license is essential.
Confident in using in-store systems and working to processes.
