About the role

As a Driver at Meoncross School, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of pupils and staff for a variety of school needs, including trips, fixtures, airport runs, and occasional home-to-school routes. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and safety, keeping accurate records, and ensuring full compliance with health and safety and transport legislation. You will represent the school in the wider community, providing a friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.

Who we are looking for:

You are a reliable and flexible driver with a strong focus on safety and professionalism. You hold a full British driving licence (held for at least 24 months), ideally with a D1 PCV classification and CPC qualification. You're confident in working with children and able to communicate clearly with pupils, staff, and parents. You understand and comply with relevant transport regulations and are committed to maintaining vehicle standards. Experience in school transport or working in an educational setting is an advantage, but not essential. Most importantly, you're a team player who takes pride in providing an outstanding transport service for our school community.
