Dog walker needed!

I am looking for an additional walker to join my dog walking business. I currently provide a premium service for my customers, giving their dogs a stimulating experience, returning their dogs happy, calm, clean and relaxed. I care about animal welfare and ensure they are well looked after in my care, I am looking for a like-minded person to join my team.

Part- time with potential to become full- time. Up to 20 hours per work

Tuesday, Thursday shifts and holiday cover needed

You will pick up the vehicle from Cullompton and work around the Exeter area, Dog safe van provided, Fuel provided.

Criteria:

-Responsible, loyal and hardworking

-Full clean driving license, Safe and confident driver

-Be available to work Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (Tuesday and Thursday to begin)

-Willing to be DBS checked

-Happy to work in all weather conditions

Responsibilities:
- Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs during walks
- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the owner
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene during walks, including picking up after dogs
- Provide basic obedience training and reinforce good behavior during walks

Experience:
- Must love dogs and have experience working with dogs
- Strong customer service skills to interact with dog owners and address any concerns or questions
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments, including those that may be anxious or reactive, up to 6 dogs at a time.
- Knowledge of basic animal care and first aid procedures
- Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy lifting, as some dogs may require assistance or support

-Must be 21 or over for insurance purposes

This is a self- employed role, so you will need to be set up and able to provide invoices on a weekly basis. Van insurance will be needed.
