Job Summary:We are seeking a Driver/Driver's Mate to assist our drivers in the safe and efficient delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will support the driver in various tasks, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The job will be 2-3 days as a Driver/Driver's Mate and 2-3 days as a Warehouse Assistant. This will involve loading and unloading vehicles. Keeping the warehouse in a tidy manner.Duties:- Assist the driver in navigating routes and delivering items to customers- Help with loading and unloading goods onto the vehicle- Perform heavy lifting when required- Support in picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery- Utilize mechanical knowledge to secure items properly during transit- Handle materials with care to prevent damage- Stock and organize inventory as needed- Load and unload goods from the vehicle safely and efficientlyQualifications:- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or a similar role is preferred- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the day- Familiarity with materials handling procedures- Capability to load and unload items safely and efficiently
