We're looking for a reliable, hands-on and enthusiastic individual to join our team, helping keep our retail and fundraising operations running smoothly.

About the Role




Working from our Avonmouth Warehouse and travelling across Bristol and the surrounding areas, you'll support a wide range of logistics activities that keep our shops, donors and customers happy -- and help generate vital income for the hospice.


Your day-to-day work will be varied, practical and rewarding. You'll be part of a friendly, dedicated Retail Logistics team and will mainly support our Furniture & House Clearance service, with opportunities to assist across the wider organisation.

What You'll Be Doing



Carrying out furniture deliveries and collections for customers, donors and stores Supporting our House Clearance service with efficient, courteous and professional service Providing logistics support for hospice events and fundraising activities (minimum one major event per year) Assisting SPH shops when required Helping manage warehouse storage, stock movements and general logistics Ensuring goods are handled safely and securely, preventing loss or damage Completing accurate records and reporting any incidents or issues promptly

What We Can Offer You



Salary: Up to 25,857 per year Permanent position Working 37.5 hours per week, 5 in 7 days

This is a physically demanding role; you will need to be able to unload volumes of items on a daily basis.

Others raise money to support patient care through our chain of over 40 charity shops and our fundraising activities. Our Inpatient Unit is a state-of-the-art centre of clinical excellence, that was built with the generous support of the people of Bristol. The Hospice is also a centre of educational excellence and we teach other healthcare professionals about how to care for people at the end of their lives, supporting the NHS and care homes provide end of life care.
