Job Description

Wye Valley Brewery is a multi award-winning, family-owned brewery. Since 1985 we've been producing the very best cask, keg and small packaged beers, using the finest ingredients. Located in rural Herefordshire, we deliver our beers to pubs across the West Midlands and South Wales regions.
The normal working week will be Monday - Friday, working 40 hours including daily core hours between 08.00 am - 03.00 pm. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry there will also be a requirement to work public bank holidays. and some Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities with the Role:

Assisting the driver with the safe loading of the dray each morning ready for the day's deliveries. Delivering our products to pubs, bars, and Free Trade accounts. You are required to offload at each account, with the assistance of the driver. There may be a requirement at some accounts to stillage the beer. Be aware of the requirement to collect and return empties to the brewery. Ensure stock rotation is carried out correctly. Good day to day communication to maintain service levels. Ensure that the Company Health, Safety and security standards are maintained. Maintain high standards of housekeeping at all times.
The successful candidate will:

Be located in the Herefordshire area and be prepared to travel to the brewery in Stoke Lacy, Near Bromyard at least five days a week. Be enthusiastic and willing to learn. Have an awareness of Health and Safety. Be reliable and have a flexible attitude to work. Be able to provide good customer service skills for our pubs and free trade. Be physically fit due to the manual nature of the role.
