We're now looking for a Driver's Mate to play a key role assisting our drivers to deliver goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

.

Work alongside our warehouse team, coordinating the picking and loading of alcohol and soft beverages onto your assigned vehicle prior to delivery Accompany a HGV driver to delivery points where you will assist with unloading deliveries to licensed premises Maintain regular contact with the Transport team and advise of all problems which may prevent the job being completed on time and without incident Complete relevant processes on an electronic handheld device

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Are physically fit as the role involves lots of manual handling Have previous experience of working with volume orders Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage their own workload Can perform simple maths calculations Previous experience as a Driver's Mate, within a similar environment would be ideal but isn't a deal breaker!
