Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver's Mate to support our delivery operations. The successful candidate will assist the driver in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in commercial driving, logistics, and warehouse operations. The Driver's Mate will play a vital part in maintaining smooth delivery schedules and providing outstanding service to our clients.

Duties

Assist the driver with loading and unloading goods at various locations Support in securing cargo to prevent movement during transit Help with navigation and route planning as directed by the driver Conduct safety checks on the vehicle before and after journeys Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues Assist with warehouse tasks, including heavy lifting and stock organisation when required Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during operations

Requirements

Physically fit and comfortable with

repetitive lifting

Reliable, punctual, and able to work early starts Strong customer service skills Able to work well as part of a two-person delivery team Experience in home delivery, removals, or multi-drop work is desirable but not essential Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: 12.21-12.71 per hour
