Drivers Mate/Slinger

Role Overview

You will be responsible in assisting the HGV driver/operator for the delivery and collection of trackway and ancillary equipment for a company that can offer you excellent training opportunities and support with great scope for progression.

Role/Responsibilities

o Assist the driver/operator in the installation and recovery of our products

o Be expected to spend time away from home including working across our European network

o The completion of any relevant checks and related administration when delivering and collecting equipment.

o Assist in the completion of all relevant documents and paperwork in the completion of site work and stock control

o You will be responsible for ensuring that Company vehicles under your responsibility are kept in a good clean condition

o As the employee of the company you will be well presented, communicate professionally with customers on site and promote the positive image of the business

o You will comply with current H&S legislation and Company specific health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.

o Be expected to carry out all manual duties in the depot when required including the washing and repairing of stock, damage repairs

o The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated within the company

Skills Required

o You will be numerate, articulate and have immaculate attention to detail.

o Basic IT Knowledge

o Full Driving License

o CSCS Operative Card

o Reliable and punctual

o Respectful

o Basic understanding of hand tools

o Reliable and punctual

o Eagerness to learn

o Good attention to detail and not afraid to ask when unsure

o Must be physically fit

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 26,500.00 per year
