Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver's Mate to support our delivery operations. The successful candidate will assist the driver in ensuring timely and safe deliveries, handling goods, and maintaining excellent communication with clients. Duties

Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods at various delivery points Support the driver in navigating routes efficiently and safely Help with heavy lifting of items to ensure proper handling and placement Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule Maintain communication with the driver regarding delivery status and any issues encountered Conduct basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs Follow health and safety procedures throughout all tasks Assist in warehouse organisation as needed, including stock movement and inventory checks

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse operations is desirable Valid driving licence with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients Good organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Physical fitness to handle manual tasks associated with loading, unloading, and heavy lifting
