Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit

Drivers' Mate

to support delivery operations. The role involves assisting the driver with deliveries of carcasses and other meat products to businesses. This includes

helping with the safe and correct lifting, carrying, and unloading

of heavy items into our Customers Premises.

This role requires a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a respectful approach to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the driver with route navigation and delivery schedules Help

lift and unload carcasses and meat products

safely into customer premises Ensure accurate delivery and completion of paperwork where required Maintain respectful and professional interaction with customers Follow all

health and safety

and

manual handling

procedures Ensure the van is loaded in an efficient and safe manner Communicate clearly with the driver and transport team regarding any issues

Requirements:

Physically fit and capable of

heavy lifting

Comfortable handling

meat carcasses

Reliable, punctual, and well-presented Good communication and teamwork skills Willing to follow strict hygiene and food safety procedures Previous experience in a delivery or warehouse role is preferred but not essential

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 48 per week
