Job Description

Overview
We are currently seeking a Driver's Mate to join our team. As a Driver's Mate, you will assist the delivery driver in transporting goods and ensuring timely deliveries to customers.

Responsibilities
- Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with the driver and customers during deliveries
- Support the driver in navigating routes and following delivery schedules
- Help with heavy lifting of packages and items as required
- Ensure the safe transportation of goods to their designated locations

Experience
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is desirable
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well within a team
- Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities is advantageous
- A valid driving license is beneficial, although not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

DBS (preferred)
