Drivers mate

to join our team in

Northampton

. You'll be responsible for working as a two-person crew delivering on our Kitchens & Bathrooms contract with the passion to deliver excellent Customer Service for

Wickes.

This is a

full-time, permanent

position, working on a

Tuesday to Saturday

contracted to

45 hours per week.

What you'll do on a typical day:

Support delivery drivers by loading/unloading heavy goods (like furniture/appliances) Provide excellent customer service by handling deliveries, getting signatures, and ensuring items are correctly placed Assist with vehicle safety checks and ensure the load is secure for transport Help find addresses, navigate routes, and ensure correct delivery to the customer's home Assist throughout the delivery and collection process

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous experience as a driver's mate would be desirable Excellent customer service is essential to the role Have a positive, flexible attitude to work Good timekeeping, with the ability to work unsupervised Be flexible in relation to shifts and duties
