We are currently recruiting a '
Driver/Vehicle Maintenance'
to work within our Projects.
This position has split duties (ie mini bus driver for our programmes/Out of School Service for 1 hour per afternoon +the vehicle maintainence element as required.*
We are looking for a multi-skilled, practical and approachable person to join our team. The successful candidate would drive the minibus for our POMP Out of School Childcare Service, including school drop off's in the morning when required, along with school pick up's each afternoon (Mon-Fri). Driver should have clean and up-to-date Driving Licence.
He/she along with driving duties would also have responsibilities organising maintenance of our vehicles carrying out weekly inspections, vehicle cleaning and replenishing of petrol/oil/screen wash/air check etc. Facilitate the 6 monthly safety check with garage and also monitor MOT/Insurance/Road Tax renewals.
Essential Requirements: Good communication skills / Trustworthy / Professional, with good time keeping / Presentable appearance / Ability to work on own initiative / A basic knowledge of email/calendars.
The appointment will be subject to satisfactory references and Disclosure/PVG Check.
