Bluestones staffing is working with a leading distribution company in the antrim area and due to continued growth they have a requirement for an immedidate start Driver/Warehouse Operative

Hours Monday to Friday 8am -5:30pm

Location Antrim beside Junction one

Salary 26,000 k Per annum

Duties

Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Organise and maintain inventory within the warehouse, ensuring items are stored correctly for easy access. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Assist in preparing orders for dispatch, including packing and labelling items accurately. Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy and report discrepancies. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse area to promote a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and any issues that arise during operations. Drive delivery vehicles as needed, in vans, ensuring timely delivery of goods to clients.

Skills

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills to facilitate teamwork and effective interaction with colleagues. Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including commercial driving experience preferred. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating equipment and performing basic maintenance tasks. Must have van driving experience No more than 3 points on license Must have good georgrpical knowledge A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all tasks undertaken. Capability to work efficiently under pressure while adhering to safety protocols.
