Driver/Warehouse Operative

Hours:

12pm - 8pm (unless covering driver absence)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Despatch Operative to join our team here at Pearl Windows. The Despatch Operative will be responsible for

- Picking out orders from pick lists on computer (frames, doors, glass, cills)

- Shunting wagons from yard to yard as required

-Taking out deliveries when needed (driver absences, sickness or if urgent)

- Moving frames and doors safely from Despatch to Yard ready for loading

- Loading and unloading trucks

- Stacking and destacking trucks

- General housekeeping of working area

About You:

- Must be computer literate (training will be given on our systems)

- Must have the ability to lift heavy items in line with manual handling

- Must be willing to work part of a team and follow health and safety procedures

-Must have a valid UK Driving Licence as well as a class 2 licence
