Due to expansion, we're looking for a reliable

Driver / Warehouse Operative

to join our team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring safe, timely deliveries to our customers while keeping the warehouse running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Accountabilities

Carry out daily deliveries to customers in a safe and professional manner. Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are secure and handled with care. Deliver excellent customer service on every drop, representing the company positively. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately. Receive, check, and put away incoming stock (Goods In), ensuring accuracy and reporting any discrepancies. Maintain accurate paperwork, delivery notes, and stock documentation. Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts - if licensed) safely and responsibly. Work closely with the warehouse and counter team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Competencies

Strong customer service approach and a professional attitude. Excellent driving skills and a commitment to road safety. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision. High attention to detail in order picking and paperwork. Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks. Ability to prioritise tasks and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence (essential). Experience in a delivery, warehouse, or trade environment is preferred. Forklift licence (counterbalance or reach) is desirable but not essential as training given. Basic numeracy, literacy, and computer skills.
