Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by assisting with various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics. This position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Duties

Receive, inspect, and organise incoming goods and materials. Deliver goods accurately and efficiently. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktaking as required. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including operating tail-lift van. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Confident driver with experience of delivering goods to customers. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential. Valid driving licence is essential for the main role of delivery driving. Ability to drive tail-lift operated van or van vehicles as required for deliveries. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and customers effectively. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment and inventory management. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
