Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by assisting with various tasks related to the storage and distribution of goods. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Receive, inspect, and organise incoming stock and materials. Prepare orders for delivery by picking, packing, and labelling items accurately. Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks. Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and order fulfilment. Drive delivery vehicles, such as vans as required for transporting goods to customers or other locations. Utilise mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on warehouse equipment when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not essential. A valid driving licence is required; experience as a delivery driver is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is beneficial. Strong mechanical knowledge will be considered an asset for this role. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team.
