DRIVER/WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE (NEWARK)

Warehouse Operative

based at our Plumbing & Heating branch in Newark Plumbing & Heating Branch

We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for customer service and who is confident to work as part of a team and under their own initiative.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Loading our fleet of delivery vehicles ensuring that all products are safely loaded and secured. Making local deliveries in our 3.5t vehicle. Ensure that company forklift trucks are driven in line with company and legal requirements. Prepare stock for delivery. Control movement of stock in and out of the warehouse. Provide first class customer service. Handle any customer issues on delivery effectively

We are looking for someone with;

Full Driving licence for 7.5t vehicle with Driver CPC would be an advantage but not essential. Fork-lift licence would be an advantage. Product knowledge and warehouse experience would be an advantage. Excellent customer service skills. A flexible approach to work.

This is a full-time role; hours of work will be 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday (with 1 hour for lunch) and 7:30am to 12:30pm on 1 in 2 Saturdays.
