Description of the JoB

To transport goods in a safe manner in accordance with customer requirements and in line with Drivers code of conduct.

Key tasks to be completed by the job holder

Collecting goods from branch ensuring that all goods detailed on paperwork are available,

Ensure that all administration requirements are maintained and completed accurately, and relevant paperwork accompanies all transactions.

To keep the vehicle maintained and services as required, ensuring traffic violations and parking offenses are reported to management.

To always adopt an upbeat, positive attitude and to act in a courteous & professional manner in dealings with customers, suppliers and work colleagues

Experience within the electrical wholesale industry preferred but not essential.

Knowledge of delivering in and around Telford , the Midlands and surrounding counties would be advantageous.

Full training will be given.

Qualifications and Education Level

Clean drivers' licence

Literate Numerate

Personal Effectiveness

Should always maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the job at hand. Takes personal responsibility for actions. Takes initiative to develop their own skills, knowledge, and behaviour.

Teamwork

Is cooperative and supports the branch.
