Deliver engaging individual and paired drum lessons for primary-aged students
Support pupils in developing solid technique, rhythm, coordination, and musical confidence
Foster a fun, positive, and encouraging learning environment
Prepare students for performances and graded exams where appropriate
Write brief progress reports and maintain accurate attendance and progress records
Arrange lesson timetables and communicate any scheduling changes
Maintain professional and friendly communication with parents and school staff regarding progress, attendance, and updates
Work Experience & Skills:
Prior teaching experience (school-based or private), ideally with primary-aged students
Confident teaching a range of musical styles and drumming techniques
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Reliable, professional, and able to inspire and motivate young learners
Able to provide references upon request
Education:
Music degree or equivalent professional experience in instrumental performance/teaching
Additional Information:
Must hold or be willing to obtain a
DBS check
