This role is on a self employed basis, full help and support will be given regarding self employment, getting set up with self assessment as part of the candidate's training.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Drum Tutor to join our expanding team.
No previous teaching experience necessary as a fully structured and mentored training course will be offered to the successful candidate. Grade 8 Rockschool or Trinity preferred but not essential.
The role is for a tutor looking towards a long term career in drum tuition, with a view to career progression as the business further expands with multiple branches opening in the near future.

The Music Centre was established in 2008 and is now the largest private music school in the North of England, winning various awards including No1 Music School - Wigan borough 4 years consecutively, our excellent facility and teaching services set us apart from, and above the competition.
We also have a commercial recording studio on the premises, and an on-site live music venue with bar and stage.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students of all ages achieve their musical goals using a blend of a friendly, relaxed upbeat attitude with a patient, proven structured teaching method.
We boast a 100% pass rate with both ABRSM and RSL examination boards.
The Candidate will receive full support from the Manager at all times, and extra support and encouragement from the business owners throughout their initial training period and beyond.
Duties
Provide one-on-one 30 minute tutoring sessions in Drumming, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
Most administrative work is carried out by dedicated staff, the candidate will be required only to tutor the Drums and prepare the lesson plans.
Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and areas for improvement.
Support students with special educational needs by employing appropriate strategies and resources, prior training will be given.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and report on achievements regularly.
Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence, fun and motivation.
