Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dry Liner to join our construction team. We need assistance closing up a floor of a building, celotex, acoustic roll, plastetboarding inc sticking required, immediate start on a site near Ash outside Canterbury

Responsibilities

Measuring, cutting, and fitting plasterboard sheets accurately according to project specifications Fixing wall linings securely using appropriate hand tools and power tools Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary adhesives or sealants Collaborating with other trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and roofing teams to ensure seamless project progress Assisting in the installation of insulation materials where required Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations Reading and interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans Assisting with minor fabrication tasks related to wall linings or related structures

Experience

Proven experience in dry lining or similar construction roles involving plasterboarding or wall linings Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, masonry, and construction painting is advantageous Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings relevant to construction projects Experience working with plastering, carpentry, masonry, or general construction is desirable Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and safety standards

Contract length: 2 weeks

Pay: 170.00-190.00 per day
