We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dry Liner Fixer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing dry lining systems, including plasterboard partitions, wall linings, suspended ceilings, and metal stud work in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure and mark surfaces to determine where to install dry lining systems
Fix metal stud partitions, wall linings, and ceiling systems to agreed plans and specifications
Cut and shape plasterboard sheets to fit around doorways, windows, electrical outlets, and other fixtures
Install insulation and vapour barriers as needed
Secure boards using screws or adhesives and tape joints for finishing
Work from drawings, plans, or verbal instructions
Coordinate with other trades on-site to ensure a smooth workflow
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety standards
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Dry Liner Fixer
Knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and tools
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
Good physical fitness and manual dexterity
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Experienced in dry linning, dot & dab, plaster boarding
Working Conditions:
Work may take place indoors or outdoors, often in dusty environments
Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required
May involve working at heights, in tight spaces, or lifting heavy materials
