Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dry Liner to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing internal wall and ceiling linings using a variety of materials and techniques. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects within the construction industry, contributing to high-quality finishes and ensuring safety standards are maintained throughout all operations. Candidates with experience in roofing, plastering, carpentry, or related trades will find this position particularly suitable.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and install plasterboard and other lining materials on walls and ceilings according to project specifications Use hand tools and power tools effectively to secure linings in place Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and ensuring proper adhesion for linings Apply jointing compounds, tape, and finishing techniques to achieve smooth surfaces ready for decoration Collaborate with other trades such as electrical, plumbing, or masonry teams to ensure seamless integration of services Follow schematics and technical drawings accurately during installation processes Maintain a clean and organised work environment to uphold health and safety standards Assist with minor repairs or adjustments as required during the construction process

Requirements

Proven experience in dry lining, plastering, or related construction trades Knowledge of roofing, carpentry, masonry, or welding is advantageous but not essential Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques used in construction environments Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately Good understanding of construction safety protocols and practices Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights if necessary Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Valid relevant certifications or licences are preferred but not mandatory

Pay: 180.00-200.00 per year
