We are seeking a skilled Dry Liner Fixer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall and related materials in residential setting consisting of 6 flats. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Experience with various tools and techniques related to drywall installation and finishing is essential to ensure high-quality results.
Duties
Measure, cut, and install drywall panels accurately according to project specifications
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary adhesives or compounds
Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, trowels, and sanders to complete installations
Finish drywall seams with taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing for a smooth surface
Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Follow safety protocols at all times during installation and finishing processes
Skills
Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing
Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and measuring tapes
Experience with power tools including drills, saws, sanders.
Customer service skills for interacting professionally with clients or team members
Heavy lifting capability required for handling large drywall sheets or materials safely
