Overview

We are seeking a skilled Dry Liner and Ceiling Fixer to join our construction team. This role involves installing drywall, ceilings, and related finishes on a residential project consisting of 6 flats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction site work, with experience in handling hand tools, power tools, and accurately reading drawings. A thorough understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment are essential. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality building projects.

Responsibilities

Install drywall panels, ceiling systems, and related materials according to project specifications Measure, cut, and fit materials using hand tools and power tools with precision Apply finishing techniques such as caulking, plastering, and trimming for seamless surfaces Work accurately from technical drawings and site instructions Coordinate with other trades including plumbing, electrical, masonry, and carpentry teams to ensure smooth workflow Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper equipment handling

Qualifications

Proven experience in drywall installation, ceiling fixing, and related construction roles Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to drywall and ceiling work Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately Strong understanding of safety standards on construction sites Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across trades

CSCS card

and relevant competency certifications Must have own tools and be self-employed under the

CIS scheme
