We are seeking a skilled Dry Liner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing and finishing internal walls and ceilings using plasterboard systems. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The Dry Liner will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
Install plasterboard systems on walls and ceilings according to specifications.
Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and fit materials.
Fabricate components as needed for specific projects.
Work from schematics and blueprints to accurately complete installations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and masons, to ensure seamless project execution.
Perform necessary adjustments to ensure walls are plumb and level.
Carry out repairs and maintenance on existing structures as required.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dry Liner or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to dry lining tasks.
Familiarity with welding, building, plastering, roofing, and masonry techniques is advantageous.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Good physical stamina, as the role may involve lifting heavy materials and working in various positions.
A valid construction-related qualification or certification would be beneficial but is not essential.
