Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dry Liner to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing plasterboard and other lining materials on interior walls and ceilings, contributing to the realisation of high-quality building projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in construction and related trades to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Measuring, cutting, and fitting plasterboard or other lining materials to walls, ceilings, and partitions according to specifications. Securing linings using hand tools such as screw guns, drills, and hammers. Ensuring surfaces are level, smooth, and ready for finishing or painting. Assisting with preparation of surfaces, including minor repairs or surface cleaning. Collaborating with other trades such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and masons to ensure seamless project progression. Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during work activities. Reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately.

Qualifications

Proven experience in dry lining or related construction trades such as plastering, carpentry, or masonry. Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, and construction painting is advantageous. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in dry lining installation. Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings relevant to construction projects. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Relevant certifications or training in construction safety are preferred but not essential.
