We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dry Liner to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in interior lining and finishing, with experience across various aspects of building and renovation projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects within the construction industry, contributing to high-quality finishes and client satisfaction. Duties

Installing plasterboard and other lining materials on walls, ceilings, and partitions in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings Measuring and cutting materials accurately using hand tools and power tools Securing linings with appropriate fixings, ensuring smooth finishes and alignment according to schematics and specifications Assisting with the preparation of surfaces through cleaning, sanding, or other preparatory tasks Collaborating with other trades such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and masons to ensure seamless project progress Applying finishing techniques including jointing, taping, and skimming to achieve a professional surface finish Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and site protocols Maintaining a clean work environment and properly storing tools and materials

Skills

Proven experience in dry lining or related construction trades such as plastering or carpentry Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, drills, trowels) and power tools used in construction work Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, or construction plans Familiarity with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, masonry, or construction painting is advantageous but not essential Ability to interpret technical instructions and work from detailed plans or specifications Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for precise measurements and finishes Good understanding of health & safety practices on construction sites Physical fitness to handle lifting, bending, climbing ladders/scaffolding, and working at heights
