Mildenhall College Academy is looking to appoint a DT/Art Technician. The role will require you to provide technical support to meet the needs of the Design Technology and Art Faculty.

About you: -

We are looking for a positive and committed individual who has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, has a pro-active approach and the ability to work independently, as well as the ability to relate well to visitors, staff and students. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a friendly team.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and well organised and will undertake the following duties:

Preparation of rooms, studios or workshops. Maintenance and repairs to al equipment and facilities. Maintain stock levels of apparatus and materials and re-order as necessary through the established procedure, including keeping stock records and carrying out stock checks. Check deliveries and invoices and refer any queries to suppliers or administrative staff, as appropriate. Ensure that Health & Safety regulations and relevant legislation are observed.
