Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ductwork Supervisor to lead our team in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a solid understanding of mechanical systems, particularly in air conditioning and equipment repair. This role requires an individual who can effectively maintain schematics and oversee the daily operations while ensuring high standards of performance and safety.

Must have SSSTS and a Gold Skill card.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and productivity. Maintain schematics for various systems, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems and related equipment. Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions promptly. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations. Build strong relationships with team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and development. Coordinate training sessions for staff on best practices in equipment handling and maintenance procedures.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a mechanical or technical environment is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. In-depth knowledge of air conditioning systems, schematics, and equipment repair techniques is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to addressing technical challenges. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation, ensuring clarity in instructions and expectations.
