How will you make an impact in this role?



The newly created role of Manager of Due Diligence Operations based in the UK will be responsible for ensuring that both prospective and existing partners are subject to the required level of due diligence. The principal responsibilities of this position include:


Facilitating the due diligence process for prospective partners liaising closely with business development teams to ensure consistency and conduct quality checks. Executing regular due diligence refreshes for existing partners based on frequencies defined as per the risk level of each partner. Assessing the risk of prospect/partner based on DD information provided and recommending risk mitigation steps as needed. Coordinating with subject matter experts such as Compliance, Infosec and Fraud teams to ensure timely input from all relevant stakeholders. Engaging closely with partners to ensure right level of documentation and timely/accurate responses to follow-ups. Ensure partner communications are clearly and simply written, detailing exactly what is required, by when, and the consequences for non- adherence. Ensure internal communications to Partner Managers are always clear. Facilitate training to ensure all bank partner completely understanding due diligence requirements and ensuring bank staff are adequately trained to be self-sufficient and able to comply Strong relationship buildings skills with BD's and Partner Managers across all Regions and subject matter experts such as Compliance, Infosec and Fraud teams

Minimum Qualifications:



Experience in and strong understanding of the Network Partnerships business and the partner ecosystem. Proficient in client due diligence procedures, sanctions, and monitoring Ability to diligently capture and evidence the activities undertaken, decision making and rationale for such decisions, considering relevant regulatory, compliance and reputational risks Must be results oriented, and self-driven, able to operate in a fast-paced environment within the GNS business Must be rigorous and detail oriented in reviewing partner provided documents and identifying/addressing potential compliance gaps Must be able to take initia tive in resolving compliance issues, identify and solve problems in a constructive manner. Strong communication skills with ability to influence without authority, experience creating presentations using PowerPoint and ability to clearly communicate complex concepts in verbal and written form. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to strict deadlines. Demonstrable experience with managing complex compliance requirements. Strong working methodology, which includes adopting a systematic and detailed approach as this role requires attention to detail Strong administrative skills to organize and maintain a broad range of activities. Proven relationship management skills. Experience of working in an international environment, supporting external business partners. Cultural awareness and sensitivity to different working practices.
