Responsible for
Overseeing all day-to-day activities to deliver the highest quality of care and raise standards through innovation.
Rota management.
Covering nursing shifts if required.
Leading, supervising, mentoring and motivating the team to ensure the residents physical, social and psychological needs are assessed and met.
Delegating effectively and safely.
Conducting regular briefings and training to promote professionalism, best practice and encouraging continuous improvement.
Recruiting and inducting new staff.
Promoting person centred care ensuring residents maintain dignity, choice and independence.
Assessing the residents to develop, implement and evaluate their care plans.
Keeping accurate records and overseeing handovers.
Using clinical tools to monitor and improve the health of residents.
Keeping up to date with the most recent guidelines.
Promoting excellent relationships with residents and their families.
Quality assurance
Effectively engaging with HSCP and Care Inspectorate.
Working to targets and being open to feedback.
The Directors will support you in this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 50,000.00-55,000.00 per year
