Join our dynamic team as a Dual Role Production Assistant, where you\'ll seamlessly bridge the gap between our bustling shop floor and efficient office operations. Collaborate closely with our Production Engineer, assisting in the optimization of production areas by creating and managing work-to lists. Engage with our ERP system to initiate, track, and finalize work orders, ensuring a smooth flow of operations. Your hands-on involvement in the physical movement of goods within the shop floor adds a practical dimension to your role, making a Forklift Truck Counterbalance License a valuable asset. This is a temporary 6-month contract that offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our success.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate workflow in production areas by generating and distributing work-to lists
• Coordinate and distribute drawing packs to relevant departments and machines
• Initiate, manage, and close works orders through our ERP system
• Physically handle the movement of goods across work areas, overseeing materials from raw to finished products

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Forklift Truck Counterbalance License
• Adaptability to seamlessly transition between office and shop floor environments
• Proficiency in practical tasks
• Strong IT and computer skills
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Keen attention to detail
• Preferred ability to interpret manufacturing drawings
• ERP system experience is advantageous

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
• 36 hours per week
