The Governors of Glebe Junior School wish to appoint a high quality Teaching Assistant to be part of our continued drive for improvement. The successful candidate will be required to support in the classroom during the morning sessions (Grade 7 for 16 hours 35 minutes) and facilitate interventions/nurture groups during the afternoon (Grade 8 for 13 hours 45 minutes).

Glebe is a popular and good school with friendly, hard-working and polite children. Our large staff afford good team work with a strong ethos of support and friendliness.

Provisional Interview Date: Week commencing 17 July 2023.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, dedicated teaching assistant willing to work with all children, including those with special needs, to promote good behaviour and learning.

The appointment is to start as soon as possible and is worked from 8.30am - 3.30pm.

Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
