As a Dumper Driver/Quarry Operative, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our quarry. You will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, including dump trucks and excavators, to transport materials safely and effectively.
What you'll do
Operate dump trucks, excavators, and other heavy equipment to transport materials within the quarry.
Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Adhere to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery, demonstrating your mechanical knowledge.
Basic qualifications
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with dump trucks and excavators.
Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety standards.
Valid commercial driving license (CDL) for operating tanker trucks as required.
